One of York's major World War 1 Centenary events
'100 Years, 1000 Voices' will be an emotional and spectacular event. A very special opportunity for the City's young voices to contribute to York's commemorative programme of events to mark the 100 year anniversary of the end of World War I.
The afternoon will be a combination of songs from the era, presentations and readings about the role York played in the war effort, archive images and some special guest performances.
The children and young people will perform to an audience of dignitaries and invited guests. We regret that tickets are not generally available because of the capacity of the venue.
The event will begin at 1pm with an estimated finish time of 2.30pm.
