These resources have been developed to support the commemoration of Holocaust Memorial Day in primary schools, secondary schools and academies.
The poems were developed with over 250 children and young people through creative workshops in York schools with a local poet, Ross McLeod. The schools involved were: Dunnington Primary School, Fulford School, Haxby Road Primary Academy, Manor CE Academy and Osbaldwick Primary Academy. The film was created with children and young people from Lord Deramore's Primary School and The Storehouse Youth Group.
The project was delivered on behalf of City of York Council and the York Holocaust Memorial Day Steering Group. For more information about Holocaust Memorial Day and to access wider resources, visit http://www.hmd.org.uk/content/for-educators
